HONG KONG, June 29, 2021 - Airstar Bank Limited ("Airstar Bank") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Lam Sai Wai, Alain, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xiaomi Corporation, as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors (the "Board"), with effect from June 23, 2021. Airstar Bank would like to express the gratitude to the contributions made by the outgoing Chairman Mr. Lei Jun. Mr. Lei Jun will continue to focus on Xiaomi Corporation's business and new product development. Mr. Lei will also support Airstar Bank's development at Xiaomi's level.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Mr. Lam graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master's degree and has worked in the finance industry for over twenty years prior to joining Xiaomi. He has served as the Managing Director for two global investment banks. Mr. Lam is familiar with the local market and also has deep international perspectives, and has profound industry knowledge and extensive experience in the field of global financial markets. Mr. Lam joined Xiaomi Corporation in October 2020 as the Group's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The Board believes that Airstar Bank will continue to enjoy positive development in all aspects under the leadership of Mr. Lam.
