Airstar Bank today announced the launch of its first bank card, the Visa Platinum Card. This debit card offers a flexible banking experience and enables cardholders to make payments and withdrawals with ease. All transactions will be directly debited from the cardholder's HKD savings account. As part of this launch, it includes unveiling cobranded card faces in partnership with Futu Securities. This collaboration marks the first-ever appearance of the Futubull mascot on a bank card. Furthermore, Airstar Bank's first bank card comes with the following key features:

Pioneering Digital Bank with Customizable Card: Your Design, Your Choice

In a pioneering move for Hong Kong's digital banking sector, Airstar Bank now allows cardholders to personalize their banking experience directly. After activating the bank card service on the Airstar Bank mobile app, cardholders can choose their preferred card design. You can also apply for a physical card directly within the app, putting the power of choice right at their fingertips. At launch, there are four distinctive card designs to choose from, including designs that feature the iconic Futubull mascot on a banking card for the first time. Easy Global Cash Withdrawals

Regardless of your location globally, cardholders can withdraw cash from accounts using a physical card at any ATM bearing the PLUS logo. Notably, no additional fees will be applied when withdrawing from PLUS ATMs in Hong Kong with a physical card. Currently, there are over 2.3 million¹ PLUS ATMs connected to the PLUS network worldwide, providing cardholders with worry-free access to cash, wherever you may be.

Special Platinum Privileges, Accessible to All

Users can apply for the Airstar Bank Visa Platinum Card without any threshold and enjoy a lifetime annual fee waiver. This card offers cardholders an array of premium Visa Platinum privileges, adding significant enhancing value to their banking experience. In collaboration with Visa, Airstar Bank provides complimentary concierge services². This 24/7 service acts as a personal assistant, reachable via phone or email, ready to handle tasks ranging from overseas restaurant reservations to arranging other exclusive experiences. Security and Peace of Mind, One Click Away

Airstar Bank places utmost importance on the security of customer data and privacy. Sensitive details such as the card number, CVV, and expiry date are not printed on the physical Visa Platinum Card. Instead, they are securely stored within the Airstar Bank app. In case of a lost card, cardholders can instantly lock it using the “One-Click Lock Card” feature on the bank card page within the app, thereby preventing unauthorized use.
